He additionally holds a teaching certificate from International House in London and has in addition studied with the College of Chi Kung and similar institutes in London, Wales and abroad. He is also a qualified practitioner of Swedish Massage and is also a Reiki Master.

Since 1996, he has been the Chairman of a London-based Holistic Charity and has extensive experience teaching Meditation, Qi Gong and relaxation techniques, working with both groups and individuals. In addition to his private clinical practice, he has worked with The StarStone Network, a teaching organisation based in South Wales, teaching alternative spiritual practices and philosophies.

Although he runs a private clinic from his home in Mid Wales, he also works at clinics in Shrewsbury. For those who are unable to travel, or who have no time to visit a clinic during the day, or just prefer the privacy and comfort of their own home, home-visits can be arranged and he in fact treats an increasing number of patients at their homes throughout Mid, West and North Wales, the West Midlands, Cheshire and parts of North West England.
Here is some information about the therapies he offers:

ACUPUNCTURE

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a form of Chinese Energetic Medicine using needles, based on Traditional Chinese Medicine.

How Does It Work?

It stimulates Qi, or the life-force in the body to enhance and improve health.

Is it safe?

A fully trained and qualified Acupuncturist is a competent & safe practitioner. In addition, all needles are sterile and are used only once, being disposed of hygienically after use.

Will I Benefit?

Please feel free to call or email for enquires as to whether acupuncture is suitable for your particular condition or for any other query.

QI GONG

What Is Qi Gong?

Qi Gong is a form of exercises, designed to improve health and energy. It literally means “Breathing Exercises”

How is it Different from Tai Jiquan?

Tai Jiquan is a stylised form of Martial Art, designed to exercise the skeleton-muscular system, whereas Qi Gong has been designed to exercise and strengthen the inner organs and promote health.

How Much Stamina Do You Need? Is It Complicated?

While there are some vigorous and complex forms of Qi Gong, the majority of exercises are simple, gentle and graceful, instilling a sense of balance and tranquillity. It has been said that even people on their sickbeds can perform Qi Gong exercises successfully and to great effect.

Where Can I Learn Qi Gong?

HealingCymru occasionally offers weekend seminars weekly courses that run one evening a week for a period of 6 consecutive weeks. Otherwise, our therapists, who have trained in Qi Gong can offer you private tuition.

CHINESE DIETARY THERAPY

What Is Chinese Dietary Therapy?

It is a form of Nutritional Therapy, based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

How Does It Work?

Different foods affect different organs in the body. By carefully eliminating or selecting various foods from a vast range of produce, Inner Organ Disharmonies and diseases can be treated and improved health can be achieved.

What Is Wrong With Standard Diets for Weight Loss?

These Diets are too generalised and do not take into account an individual’s constitution. Because of this, many people fail to successfully lose weight permanently. By understanding your body better, you can choose which foods are right for you.

How Can I Follow A Chinese Medicated Diet Plan?

A personalised plan can only be achieved through consultation with a qualified practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, who will take a full case history and will then make diagnoses and recommendations for you to achieve better health and a balanced diet and life. Although Chinese Dietary Therapy is usually used as an adjunct to Acupuncture and Qi Gong, it can also be accessed as a separate therapy by itself.
